The Children’s Commissioner has published a highly useful report summarising the evidence about parent engagement in children’s learning. The paper, Parents’, Families’ and Whānau Contributions to Educational Success, notes that families, educational settings and Government policies all contribute to the educational success of children. The report highlights the powerful opportunities for partnerships and collaboration – an approach COMET Auckland embraces wholeheartedly.
